Darren and Jessica are the proud owners and operators of Lazy Paddles Guided Tours and Kayak Hire in Tea Gardens, on the beautiful Myall River of NSW.

With a love of the outdoors. Our spare time is spent paddling, hiking, cycling and camping in Australia and Scotland.

Darren has worked in the outdoor retail industry and has extensive knowledge of outdoor gear. Jessica is a keen photographer and writer and was a scientist in a previous life.

We are passionate about sharing the area’s natural beauty with our customers.

All Lazy Paddles guides are qualified in paddling / outdoor skills and hold First Aid certificates and and have a current Working With Children Check (WWCC). We are committed to ensuring our customers have an safe and enjoyable time on the water.

About Lazy Paddles

Lazy Paddles was founded in 2002 and has been a part of the Tea Gardens community for over 2 decades. In this time the company has grown to become the premier activity provider in the area.

Our Myall River Discovery tour of the lower Myall River is so popular customers return every year.

Ask us about hiring a kayak overnight for your next camping adventure on the Myall Lakes. Additionally we can also deliver kayaks to your campsite or pick them up once you have completed your  paddle.

Our fleet is a mix of single and double sit-in kayaks. The kayaks are stable and durable and designed for river and lake paddling. We also have touring kayaks for hire which are excellent for multi-day trips in Myall Lakes national park.
